Neal has been involved in health and safety for several years and has completed his Grad Cert in Occupational Hazard Management through Federation University, Melbourne, Australia. (Don’t worry though he is not an Aussie!) Neal has worked in the mining industry in Western Australia and numerous other industries. Experienced gained due to the Canterbury earthquakes, include demolition of the Westpac Centre, BNZ Hereford Street, numerous high rise buildings and several of the residential buildings hanging over cliffs in Redcliffs, Christchurch. Specialist areas include demolition, asbestos, construction, heavy machinery and investigations.
Neal is HASANZ Registered and NZISM Grad Cert.
Nick joined the team from a farming, forestry and mining background with a strong focus on environmental management. Ten plus years predominantly involved in the mining industry, running an environmental services business, then as an employee with Solid Energy have strengthened Nick’s understanding and familiarity with health, safety and environmental management systems and application.
Nick’s skills include: Environmental management planning, award winning innovation, health safety and environmental leadership, incident investigation, risk management, training and facilitation, project planning and supervision.
Sales and Marketing
Amanda has experience in Design, Sales and Marketing, and is the creator of our fantastic Safety Talks, Posters and signs. She is also the person who casts her eye over every one of your documents to ensure it is user friendly.
Amanda has 3 years experience in Health and Safety industry. She has a sound knowledge of health and safety and is happy to answer any questions that you may have.
Wayne is our head researcher, document developer and safety system refiner. Wayne reads over all the technical jargon and creates our documents that make sense to everyone! Wayne has recently moved to Vancouver, Canada (Where health and safety is a world leader) but that has not stopped him from handling our Asbestos management and auditing. He has helped many clients attain their Asbestos Licences and certification. Wayne has completed his Graduate Diploma in Professional Practice Occupational Health and Safety.
With an extensive background in the airport industry and aviation, Benson knows the true value of robust procedures, productivity all the while mitigating risk.
His direct involvement in operations, management and training departments gives him a strong appreciation for striking a balance between the critical role of Healthy & Safety and Quality Control procedures with the necessity in business for efficiency and an awareness that “time is money”. Benson’s experiences have encompassed identifying the top priorities and shedding light on any potential problems before they arise as he is of firm belief that if there is a possibility for something to go wrong then it very much could go wrong. Bringing his strong practical eye to shed light on potential issues Benson is also very aware that there is a need to evaluate whether the approach is worth the cost, time and effort invested. Benson adopts this approach with Health & Safety processes designed to add real value to your business, streamlined and adapted in such a way so as to maximise cost efficiency, save you time and avoid hassle for the PCBU.

Nicky is a skilled trainer, project manager and has 25 years experience in Health and Safety. Nicky is a registered nurse with experience as an Occupational Health Nurse and is an executive committee member of the Occupational Health Nurses Association. Nicky has a Diploma in OSH (Massey) and Diploma in Nursing.
Heidi has experience within health (Physiotherapy), food processing and the engineering industries. Heidi is passionate about Occupational Safety and Health management and able to apply the principles to implement effective Quality and Environmental Management systems. Heidi holds a Grad Dip. in OSH, Human Resource Management, NEBOSH Cert, CQA and Cert. in Adult Teaching.
- Hawkes Bay
Kelly has attained her Diploma in OHS (Level 6), completed ICAM training and is a member of NZISM. Kelly has worked for a Crown Research Institute as the Health & Safety Coordinator for the past 15 years and has vast experience in the horticulture industry.
- Wellington to Palmerston North
John has extensive Occupational Health and Safety consultancy experience in the Greater Wellington Region. John comes from a business advisory background having worked in the change management field for 18 years. In his short time with us John has proven he is a hit with all staff levels in businesses and effectively engages people into being responsible for health and safety in their organisation.
- West Coast / Tasman
Alex is based in Buller and is eager to help clients to achieve a healthy, safe and compliant work environment. He has spent 20 years at a professional level involved with projects in civil engineering, mining, drilling and technical consulting. At the forefront of operations in high risk industries is the assessment and management of hazards, his skill set will assist clients in identifying workplace issues and developing ways to manage them either through mitigation or elimination.
Amanda has a history of working in health, safety and well- being from Rail and Meat Processing Industries. Amanda has an extensive background in safety auditing, and planning, with practical advice to compliment the plans. Amanda has also a vast experience with safety representatives and training.
- Christchurch / Canterbury District
After spending several years in the environmental arena, Rebekah is our specialist on-site environmental officer. Rebekah is well placed to give professional, practical advice and strategy building for environmental projects.
Rebekah also has hands on knowledge within the hospitality and event management industries. Her hands on experience gives valuable knowledge to ensure food safety, public safety and events run smoothly.
Rebekah has an ability of making best practice systems and procedures accessible to the teams on-site, while developing relationships needed to create positive change.
Lucy has extensive knowledge working in the civil, residential construction and demolition industries.
Lucy gives professional and practical advice that not only suits your industry but also your company culture. Lucy's ability of making best practice systems and procedures fit the business means she develops strong, positive and efficient relationships; that make Health and safety easy to achieve across all sectors of the organisation.
Lucy has completed an International General Certificate in Health and Safety with NEBOSH, has ICAM incident investigation training and holds a Site Safe Gold card
- South Canterbury to North Otago
Barbara has a background in analytical chemistry, Barbara has over 27 years’ experience in health and safety working with clients from owner operators to larger business's and covering a broad range of industry.
Barbara has a Post Graduate Diploma in OHS through Massey University and was a Health and Safety Coordinator with a Crown Research Institute for 10 years. Barbara is experienced in environmental and quality management systems and has delivered unit standard training in Health and Safety for 10 years.
Barbara is HASANZ Registered and a SafePlus Accredited Onsite Assessor.
Anna Gillooly - Central Otago
Anna specialises in outdoor adventure / tourism health and safety and has worked with the International Mountaineering Federation and is a Qualified Outdoor Safety Auditor.
Anna is also interested in Property Management, Construction and Asbestos health and safety.
She has a sound understanding of health and safety and works with the client to ensure practices and recommendations are valuable for the business.
